Our trips are planned with you and your interests in mind. From adventure trips to indulgent, long weekend spa trips, feedback from our travelers is the basis for all our trip planning. WTT strives for a balance between planned activities and free time so you can experience the destination in a way that fits your personal interests. Activities are carefully selected to highlight the uniqueness of the destination.

Sometimes you want to get away for the weekend, other times you may have the time to take a trip to Europe. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to try a sailing adventure, or see a national park you’ve heard about. With WTT, you can do all that, and more. Each year we offer trips in five categories of interest. Our travelers often remark that we have too much to choose from!

Our tours foster a fun, easygoing environment where new friendships can begin and grow. While some women come with a friend, 80% join us alone. You will notice how quickly everyone is at ease once meeting as a group for the first time. You’ll see that everyone is just like you in one very important way–they all love travel.

All WTT tours are planned with the safety of the female traveler in mind. Our travel experts regularly follow up on health and safety issues of different destinations before, during and after tours. We also use an informal buddy system–when you strike out on your own, someone is expecting you to be back for dinner.

Our average group size is between 10 and 20 women. The benefits of a small group are endless. You can stay in small, boutique hotels, enjoy meals in the main section of restaurants, easily remember the names of the other women, and feel like you have experienced a leisurely vacation, not a marathon race. Plus, you have a great deal more personal freedom in a small group.

Our tour leaders are well prepared, knowledgeable, and friendly. They bring your tour experience alive by sharing interesting facts, pointing out the best places to explore, and becoming an integral part of the group. The WTT tour leader meets you at the the beginning of the tour and stays with the group throughout the trip. In many locations, we ask local experts to speak to the group and show you around to enhance the experience. Some of our tour leaders were once travelers just like you who had the special leadership and personality qualities WTT tour leaders are so well known for.

Hotels are chosen for their safety and convenience to activities. WTT takes pride in the finding accommodations that emphasize the charm of the location visited. When we travel outside of the US, we make it a point to stay in hotels that reflect the culture and personality of the country we are visiting. We only select overseas accommodations that offer a private shower and toilet.

You will be sent comprehensive travel documents 2-3 weeks before a trip with detailed information on what to pack, where to meet upon arrival, a list of other women travelers on the tour (including their phone numbers) and much more! It’s our way of educating you about the upcoming trip, so that you are properly prepared, and to get you excited.

Itineraries are detailed and clear. They state the services offered, how many meals and activities are included on the tour, and what the activity level will be for each tour. Airfare is not generally included in WTT tours, but we can assist you with flight recommendations so that you arrive at the same time as other travelers, or are even on the same international flight. Our goal is to make the travel experience predictable, so that you know what to expect each and every time you travel with WTT.
