Schedule your arrival no later than 5:00pm and take local transportation to the hotel. If you arrive earlier in the day, go exploring or relax until the start of the tour. We will meet in the lobby of the hotel at 6:00pm for introductions and then depart for our Welcome Dinner to get better acquainted. Overnight Phoenix - 1 night
Sunday, 4 Jun 2017: Desert Botanical Garden; Musical Instrument Museum; Travel to Grand Canyon (B)
We begin with a visit to the Desert Botanical Garden, which collects species from all over the world and includes Chihuly glass art, bronze sculptures and a butterfly garden. We also stop at the fascinating Musical Instrument Museum, displaying more than 6,000 instruments collected from 200 countries. We travel to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, check-in to our hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Consider joining an interactive Ranger program or just taking in the majestic sights. Overnight Grand Canyon - 3 nights
Monday, 5 Jun 2017: South Rim Tour; Optional Flight-seeing Excursion, Group Dinner (B,D)
Today we spend a half-day on a guided tour as we visit the various overlooks in the park learning about the natural forces that carved this grandest of canyons. Later we see the canyon from a different perspective as we fly over it. What an exciting day! We finish with dinner at El Tovar enjoying its spectacular location overlooking the canyon.
NOTE: The flight-seeing can be removed from your tour when you make your reservation if you are not interested in doing this.
Tuesday, 6 Jun 2017: Personal Day at the Grand Canyon (B)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast or get up early and watch the sun rise. There are morning interpretative Ranger programs, mule rides down into the canyon, walks along the rim, hikes and so much more. Your WTT Tour Leader will help pair travelers with similar interests so you have someone to explore with, or you can venture out on your own if you wish. Make this your day for a very personal tour of the canyon.
NOTE: If you are interested in a mule ride, reservations must be made months in advance (cost not included and must be paid directly to the mule concession supplier). Your Tour Concierge will provide more details once you've reserved space on this tour.
Wednesday, 7 Jun 2017: Travel to Sedona; Afternoon Pink Jeep Tour (B)
This morning we make our way to beautiful Sedona, driving through Oak Creek Canyon for our first glimpse of red rock country. This afternoon we hop into jeeps and venture into the heart of the red rocks. Stunning vistas await at nearly every turn. It’s a great way to gain a different perspective of this unique landscape. Thursday, 8 Jun 2017: Sedona Personal Day; Optional Balloon Ride; Farewell Dinner (B,D)
Enjoy a personal day in Sedona, a haven for anyone who loves spectacular scenery and open spaces. The town is famous for the natural red rock formations, as well as for the wonderful artisan crafts that can be found in numerous galleries around town. You can be active and hike, leisurely peruse the arts and crafts shops, lift off on a balloon ride or just bask in the beauty. Your WTT Tour Leader will have many ideas for spending a great day in Sedona. This evening we gather for dinner to reminisce about the great week we've just shared.

Friday, 9 Jun 2017: Return Home from Phoenix (B)
We depart Sedona together this morning, returning to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport by 10:00am. Make your return flight to depart Phoenix no earlier than 12 noon.
