After breakfast at our hotel, we cross the border into Canada and drive 2 hours to Montreal. Montreal is the heartland of French-Canadian society and the unofficial commercial and cultural capital of French Canada. The largest French-speaking city after Paris, Montreal shines with the vitality and excitement of a European capital city. Known for its excellent restaurants, the arts and educational institutions, Montreal provides an amazing glimpse into the “Old World” of French North America. After arriving at the hotel, we will be joined by a local guide for a driving tour of the city including Sanctuary Notre Dame, Place Ville-Marie, the Olympic Stadium, Mount Royal and St. Joseph's Oratory. This evening we will enjoy dinner together in Old Montreal. Overnight Montreal - 2 nights

Monday, 18 Sep 2017: Montreal to Quebec City along the St. Lawrence River (B,D)
We depart Montreal this morning for a scenic drive from Montréal to Québec City. We will drive along parts of the Chemin du Roy, Canada's oldest highway, linking Montreal and Quebec City since 1737. This route traverses beautiful pastoral landscapes as it winds its way along the St. Lawrence River. We will take our time, stopping in quaint villages and at roadside stands before arriving in Quebec City late afternoon. Check in and relax before gathering to have dinner together. Overnight Quebec City - 3 nights
Tuesday, 19 Sep 2017: Quebec City Tour; Free Afternoon (B)
Quebec City is one of the loveliest cities in North America and is reminiscent of old Europe. The old walled portion of the city is filled with street performers, artists and unique shops. Our day begins with a private guided tour. Highlights include views of the Old and New Cities, the Old Port, the Citadel, Place Royale and rue Champlain. Walk along cobble-stoned pedestrian streets, browse along the oldest shopping street in North America, visit the Artist's Quarter or leisurely stroll along the boardwalk overlooking the St. Lawrence River. The remainder of the day is yours to explore. Soak up the atmosphere; it’s almost magical.
Wednesday, 20 Sep 2017: Shrine of St Anne Du Beaupre; Montmorency Falls; Île d'Orléans; Farewell Dinner (B,D)
Today we visit three sites in proximity to one another just outside the city. We begin at the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, which is said to perform miracles drawing visitors from around the world. The size of the structure is impressive and the inside of the building is equally so. Then it's on to Montmorency Falls, which is 98.5 feet higher than Niagara Falls and the highest falls in the province of Quebec. Staircases allow us to view the falls from several perspectives. A suspension bridge over the falls crest provides access to both sides of the park and offers a spectacular view. There is also a cable car to transport passengers between the base and the top of the falls (cost not included). Finally, the historical borough of Île d'Orléans celebrates Québec's rural tradition with its gorgeous scenery stretching along the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Centuries-old homes and some of the oldest churches in the region dot the road that rings the island. Returning to our hotel in late afternoon we’ll have time to freshen up before gathering for our Farewell Dinner.
Thursday, 21 Sep 2017: Return Home from Quebec (B)
Sadly, our time together has come to an end. Based on the departure time you provide WTT, your Tour Leader will organize travelers into small groups so you can ride-share to the airport if you wish. Note: You will clear US Immigration and customs at your destination, not in Quebec.
