Our day begins with a tour of Charleston to get better acquainted with our surroundings and discover all the city has to offer. Magnolia Plantation has survived the centuries and has been witness to the history of our nation from the American Revolution through the Civil War and into present day. It is the oldest public tourist site in the low country, and has the oldest public gardens in America. Its doors opened to visitors in 1872 to allow guests to view the thousands of beautiful flowers and plants in its heralded gardens. Upon returning from the plantation, the remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish.
