WOW – There were so many wow's on this trip and it all began with the fun-loving  group of women that went on this trip.  As I overheard many times, the group seemed to “click” from the first evening in St. Thomas.  We enjoyed an evening social and had time to talk and get acquainted before we boarded the ship. We quickly discovered that everyone was excited to have the opportunity to go sailing but leave the work to someone else!

Getting settled into our cabins we unpacked and stowed our luggage and then we all met up on deck where we spent almost all of our time.  Since the ship only sails during the day, sleeping in the cabins is no different than in a hotel room. We all watched as the sails were raised for the first time and we got under way. It was such a memorable sight and it set the stage for the coming week.

The beauty of each island was unique.  There is natural beauty everywhere while shopping and restaurants can be found on the larger islands. It was great to get off the ship each evening and go into town for dinner. It really added to the island experience and we had wonderful dinners.

The group took advantage of this variety to do snorkeling, hiking, sun-bathing, kayaking, swimming and shopping.  What a pleasure to wake up daily and choose to be active or do absolutely nothing!

The trip offered true relaxation in a lovely, small group atmosphere. And, it was such a wonderful getaway from the cold winter weather at home.
